How it works
Choose your exam date, test type, available daily minutes and priority skill to create a dated practice schedule. This planner rotates the four skills, adds extra practice for your priority and reserves time for review. It organises your time; it does not predict your score or guarantee an improvement.
- Choose an exam date within the next year and a realistic daily time budget.
- Select Academic or General Training and the skill that needs most attention.
- Generate your plan, download a copy and start with the first dated task.
A realistic 45-minute session
The planner reserves 11 minutes for review and 34 minutes for focused practice. For Writing, that could mean planning an argument and drafting one developed paragraph. A full timed Task 2 response is only scheduled when the practice block has at least 40 minutes.
Your next step
Continue with a mock test.
Choose your test type to open the relevant practice in IELTSRISE. Sign in or create an account to continue; practice access depends on your plan or credits.
Questions & answers
Can I make a 7-day or 30-day IELTS study plan?
Yes. Choose an exam date 7 or 30 days from today. The schedule starts today and ends the day before your exam, with a lighter final review.
Will this plan get me to band 7?
No plan can promise a score. Progress depends on your starting skills, the quality of your practice and feedback, and the time available. Use a diagnostic and regular reviews to adjust the tasks.
What happens if I have only 15 minutes a day?
The planner assigns a short exercise and review within those 15 minutes. Longer tasks are split across sessions; it does not ask you to complete a full timed essay in 15 minutes.
